BUYING AT AUCTION

Viewing the Auction
Viewing hours (by appointment only) to be confirmed.

At the Auction
You will need to register as a bidder on the day of the auction. You will receive a bidder’s number which you must show to the auctioneer if you are the successful bidder.

Absentee Bidding
If you are unable to make it to the auction you can enter an Absentee Bid on our website or during viewing times at our auction rooms. You can also bid live here.

Buyer’s Premium
A Buyer’s Premium of 20% (incl GST) is added to the successful bid.

Payment
Payment must be made prior to collection after the auction. For in-house auctions we accept cash, Eftpos and on-line payments. We do not accept Payware or credit cards.

Collection times
1. Your lots must be picked up from Nelson Auctions by 4:00pm the day following the auction. Please contact us if for some reason you are unable to pick up your items within this time frame.

2. No responsibility is held by Nelson Auctions for items not collected by the scheduled date. Storage fees may be incurred.

3. Any buyer who does not collect and pay for their items within two weeks will be excluded from future auctions.

We are happy to organise nationwide delivery for purchased lots. Please contact us. Fee to be discussed.
